Maybe we could use some of those super smart lab rats trained to spot dangerous critters and they could squeek a warning at us. Then we'd have super rat phones. In a pinch you could always toss the rat to an overly aggressive snake....

I need to get some sleep!
 
Wouldn't the ohm rating be something to consider? What ohms frequency does your detector want to be in? I know for speakers and hi fi this is a big thing. Some people say some are clearer and crisper than others. Maybe these are higher ohm systems that could possibly clean up some distortion.
