I knew it was coming

Well after three rings yesterday I knew it was coming. Beach appeared to be sanded in today and picked up a whole $.19 and a ton of trash. It was beautiful day and could not have been better. Only thing I hate was two other dectectors buddies went and they did not have much luck either. I was really hoping they would find something as both have been in dry spell. Tomorrow is a different day and hopefully different results. Hope all had better luck than I did today.

Some days you eat the bear...some days the bear eats you. It's the nature of what we do. You've been doing really well though so keep that hot streak feeling going and do a little leg work on your beach. Try this: walk a couple hundred yard to either side of the place were you were getting your hits. I find (at least in my little corner of the world) the sand sometimes just moves laterally down the beach a bit. So one area will be sanded and then a bit further (sometimes miles) another spot will be cleared back to the shell layer. Sometimes a little recon pays off well.

Thanks I walked yesterday and It was worse on one end than the one I was on day before. The hole closed up and I know it will reopen. Only issue is this is not local to me 2 hrs one way and cannot watch it like I can my resident beach. But In Miami there are always targets just have to adapt to wet or dry sand to find them. I appreciated the offer on the idea and gladly accept all offers for advise. I knew i was in trouble when I was not getting any shells in digging day before they were very plentiful.
