Hi All,
I sing to myself while out detecting, in between cussing and cursing the bottle caps and pull tabs, of course. Some of the songs I like to sing are as follows:

silver threads and golden needles - Linda Rondstat

Agreed, but I still like to sing the songs in my head, that is, not out loud. This is of course when no signals for some time. One of the heavily littered and full of change and rings city parks I detect does not allow for much daydreaming.

Now there's an idea.
Make my detector play my favorite music in tune to the targets I detect. Going high and low by the type of target.
Me. I can't listen to anything but the machine.
I metal detect because of the peace it brings.
Focusing on it's music of the gold that awaits.
