I didn't find a lot, but I did find Clad dimes and pennies. I was thrown off a little by the sound as I moved from target area....... As I said in earlier post .It seems to be a delayed sound as I move over targets.. Targets do read properly dime is a dime penny is a penny.. etc.. matching up with the ID.

Is there a setting to get it more precise over the target sounds..or, is it is, what it is ??

It sounds like you have your recovery delay a bit too high? I've noticed that from playing with it.

I doubt there is a delay in your headphones. (You can adjust the transmit power for them. I lowered mine by one as hunt in EMI free areas.)

I have never noticed a time delay before with the WHP Elton....... I guess because after I hear a nice beep, I go to pinpoint right away and read the pinpoint screen, that usually tells me everything I want to know about the target. Have you tried a wired set of phones to see how long the delay is?

Maybe it's just me. I am used to the F75 / T2 fast response beep. I just realized it is most lilely that and not an issue at all.

I wouldn't think he would be messing with that stuff yet, but if you are Elton, I have mine set at 90 for a slow "round sound" but you can speed it up to 50 for a sharper, quicker "beep".

I really after thinking about it.Believe it's just the difference in machines I am used to, and the way the V3i responds.

I really think I am going to like this machine. I had more fun detecting in preset with it, than I have had in a while. The Id is dead on, You feel real sure about the target before you dig it..........The screen is awesome......

Maybe an F75 user can help on this one, I know we have a couple. They never mentioned the lag. ROB

Elton--I had the same trouble coming from the F75. The guys are right, its the delay throwing you off. If you run the delay setting to around 40, it will closely mimic the F75s recovery speed.

I have also noticed a very slight delay when using the wireless headphones. Not enough to be a problem, but it was there. I used my Killer B's this weekend but still enjoy the wireless most of the time.
