I Got A Modded Tesoro Cibola Headed My Way:tesoro::usaflag::thumbup:

It has a 10 turn ground balance pot and a 3-way trigger. I can't wait to give it a workout. The first thing that I'm going to do is put a 5.75 inch concentric coil on it and head out to a terrific location that's has some jewelry and old silver coins waiting on me to find and dig. There's something about beep and digging that makes my day. It's so exciting if you're at a good location.

Here's a great video to watch: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kfWNo3vleRU

Tabman, Interesting video link, makes me want to go tinker around with a good used cibola now but I got quite a few detectors now that I need to spend more time with. What does the 3 way switch do? I know you got all metal but what would the other positions do? Kinda like a mini Tejon, pretty neat. I noticed he mentioned in the video about running a dd on the tejon. I just picked up a 10" elliptical for mine and got out today trying to learn it. At first I was frustrated but the more I used it everything started to click and I think it will work out good. Good luck and congrats on the modded cibola, let us know how it works out.

Tracking says it is at your Post Office Tab...........:clapping:

I'm pumped! The Post Office is only 2 miles away but the mail lady won't make her round to my until around 2:00 o'clock, so I won't get any real hunt time in until tomorrow.

I'll do some testing around in the yard with it this afternoon, so I'll be prepared for the big first big outing with it in the morning. :detecting:

Larry thanks for getting it to me so fast.

I'm not certain how the switch works on the one that I bought. I've read that on some modded Cibolas that the forward position locks into all metal, the middle position is discrimination and the pull non-locking position is pinpoint. I'll know for sure this afternoon with I get it.:)

That is right Tab.

Tab you are one of the few the proud, who own one of those rare modes cibolas, its going to serve you well , that thing in your hands? glad you don't live around hear would be nothing left for me . but then you do have time constraints, and possibly a honey do list . that makes it even . Cant wait to hear your report.

Gunnar it's mostly about location. You have to metal detect where the treasure is in order to be able to find it.

You'd be in hog heaven if you metal detected some of the places that I do.:detecting:

It got here early. It looks and works great. :thumbup:I have the 5.75 inch concentric coil hooked up and ready for some action.

I'm headed out the door to a close by park with my new toy.:detecting:

this is going to be interesting .

tabman...

You got a good deal on that Cibola, from what I've seen on the vidios, they go deeeep. Don't forget the backhoe, BOOM Baby!

All I've got to say right now is it's one 'sweet' machine.

I'm taking the Cibola on a real hunt in the morning where there's a good chance of finding some really old relics and coins. Maybe some gold.

I got my 5.75 concentric coil attached and I'll be doing some serious beep and digging.:detecting:

I plan on setting the discrimination just high enough to where the audio response on a nail crackles and pops and dig all clear signals. It's no telling what I'll dig up.:)

I'm glad you like it Tab, enjoy.

You are going to let a light drizzle stop you, eh? HH jim tn

Jim it ain't drizzling at my house, it's raining pretty good. Maybe it'll stop here shortly and we can get out do some detecting.:detecting:

tabman

Yeah, it has about stopped here. Gonna be a tad messy, but just pick one of your virgin spots so what ever you dig might be good. HH jim tn

I think gonna give it shot. I have a sandwich bag rain cover.
