I tried a little patch of woods today where quite a few bullets have been found in the past and saved a few more.
Been a good while since I found any civil war bullets and it was an exciting hunt.
I know the top row are Sharps rounds, but not sure about the bottom row.
I think they are Burnside rounds.. one still has part of the case attached to it and some type of wadding also at the base (see photos closeup).
If anyone can confirm the ID on these bullets or correct me, I would appreciate it.
I also could use some help on the two mystery pieces I found.
One of them still had the two small screws in the holes when I found it.
No idea if they are period or not.
