I hit a park today that has been hit hard for the past 40+ years. In between the nails and whisky bottle caps, from about 7 inches down, out pops Lady Liberty. Always nice to see silver in the hole. Even better when it turns out to be in this fine of condition. This is a 1917 D, Variety 1 Standing Liberty Quarter, (her right breast exposed on the obverse, and no stars under the "low flying" Eagle on the reverse). HH Randy

OH MY GOSH.THAT SOUNDS LIKE THE ONE MY GRANDFATHER TOLD ME HE DROPPED AFTER COMING OUT OF THE BANK WITH IT THE YEAR IT WAS MINTED.But really she looks amazing.Congrats.

One beautiful coin.I would be jumping up and down with joy and doing the happy dance if I found one like that.
 
Were you using the stock coil or the 6"? Also What mode and settings? Thats a great find at 7" and in between all the junk!!
