i was thinking about doing this with my cortes but im not sure it can be done with out effecting its performance i took this from tesoros website under warranty repair

1.Be sure to send, at a minimum, both the coil with its cable and the electronics control housing. Unnecessary items, such as extra poles, need not be shipped. However, the new Cort

its because of the battery pack

Just letting you all know that the "headphone seal" is on every satellite dish actuator (the part of the system that moves the satellite dish). And now that the big satellite dish systems are a thing of the past there is alot of abandoned dishes, actuators, etc. I became a satellite dealer back in 1985 for extra income and I loved electronics, sure miss the big dish days. Steve.

The black connector is called a cord grip connector and they are available at
most electrical supply distributors. Used for electrical Cords such as sjo or so
cord into boxes.

nice !! I use the CSC on my Silver and absolutely LOVE it,,, it is not the deepest,,,, but good to nearly 5 to 6 inches in most cases one thing to remember with this coil,,,, dig the very light , soft, almost in-audible REPEATABLE targets and you will find the deeper coins

i did this once with a compadre but its much better with a silver because of the coil connector
& the clam connector
i love my tones
i have changed the coil on my setup back to the 8 x 9 as the clean sweep was a bit heavy & lacked depth
good coil though i have it for sale in the classifieds
fun coil covers a lot of ground
it looks kike your add is for the 8x9,,,, what coil are you selling?

wltdwiz,

Is this the silicone that drys or the type that is like a silicone grease (never hardens) & seals/lubricates o-rings - seals - electrical cords/headset cords/coil cords from outside water & or chemicals ? There are the 2 types & I haven't heard in a post which one it is (if it was I missed it). Thank you in advance for an answer.
