I am stumped on this one

I have found 4 of these over the years and they are usually pretty deep, it feels like it is made of lead, a couple of the other ones were kind of bent up so I assume they are made of lead. Anybody got a clue what it is?

Thinking that looks a lot like a thread spindle for sewing.

I remember my grandmother’s old pedal power Singer, those were all wood. Could it be one of the spindles on the machine where the threads come together towards the needle/s?

Could be a decoy weight

I'll take a guess - warp thread weights from a weavers loom. A loom would use a bunch of them. You mentioned that you found several and they tended to be deep, did you find them in the same site or at different locations?

They were all in the same general area, this park is definitely old enough to harbor such finds, thanks : ) I think you could be right.
