I just signed on 1 minute ago and my 1st thought was that your supporters far outnumber your detractors. Haters have always been a small but very vocal group which is why they get more than their share of attention.

Sorry to see you leave, CD. Just ignore the haters and keep doing what you love doing with the equipment that you want to use. Some people will always have a negative opinion about everything.

I Hate to hear this Calabash. I feel that most on the forum here both enjoyed and supported your videos and your expertise and knowledge concerning the metal detectors that you did videos and comparisons on. You will be missed by this fellow Southerner and Relic Hunter, as well as by many others here. I'm sure I'll be seeing you on the other forum. Take Care and God Bless. Maybe you could just chill a bit and rethink leaving here. As been said, I believe you have more Supporters than detractors on the forum here.

Sorry to hear & see you leave! I enjoyed watching your Videos & seeing your finds! But if you do not have peace in what you're doing, listen to your wife & if & when you want to come back & join us, please do so! Sometimes each of us has to take time & view our circumstances & whether to keep on. keepin' on with the way we've been detecting or living our lives; so, then decisions for change are made but not in haste, hopefully, as time heals all wounds, 'tis said & prayer is answered in God's timing & not ours! Aging comes fast along with many Trials & Troubles; so, make your decision worth it as only God Jehovah knows what our future holds & mine at 86 with lots of health problems is my keeping still & doing only that which I am able to for now & do the best I can for my enjoyment & Happiness while others try to do the same! Life is short, no matter our age; so, make you & your wife happy! May God Bless you both in whatever decisions you make BUT living for Jesus makes them BETTER for you & everyone around you, daily! Talk only about the detector you are using ..Do not compare it against another detector ..
Detector A is better than Detector B or C etc...
Many detectorist can only afford a certain amount of funds .
My kind of detecting is completely different than your detecting..

I don't watch your videos. To biased IMO and everyone is wrong if they disagree with your opinion. Every forum you're on, there's a big brewha, why is that? That said, these are public forums that give a ton of information for free so if someone is learning from your posts and videos, post away, it's still somewhat of a free country. Sorry to see you go from yet another forum. Honestly, I used to really enjoy your videos and was a subscriber, but since the Deus II came out you have been way too argumentative and saw insults where none were intended. You are obviously a knowledgeable detectorist and have much expertise to share. My advice would be to ignore those who disagree, or reply gracefully, and don’t ridicule other brands. Just one man’s opinion.
