It is not a relic or antiguity. It is a modern item that by unfortunate circumstance was lost. It was found by an enthusiast who invested time and money into a hobby with the objective of finding things like this. I hope it serves as inspiration to others to join in the hobby and feel the thrill of finding an object of beauty and take pride in doing so.

I posted an open note to you a couple a weeks ago to see if you were still bringing home the stones. Evidently you are. Great stuff, find anything else lately? At least it's not a marquise. Seems like you have plenty of those.

Sorry I missed your post. My detector was on the fritz and it turns out that its owner was part of the problem. 4 months of shuttling it back and forth between here and Las Vegas put my nerves on edge. I have another detector but I was so bummed out about the problems I was having I just obsessed with getting this one in order.

Everything (including me) is fine now and I am back in business. This was my 3rd outting and I came accross this heart shaped diamond after spending an hour trying to help someone find a medallion they lost 3 months ago. (No luck with that but I have his name and phone number). A nice way to end the day.

It is the end of vacation for the natives and I have the beaches to myself except for a few tourists. The beaches were particularly busy this year so I am trying to hit as many as I can and going out almost every day.
