I have all types of hunting friends and have had to sort over the years to get to where I am. Most reciprocate sites but not all, but they all have ethics and know the value of a site and our friendship. I guess I'm a social detectorist at heart and would rather have a few good hunting buddies than a seated coin because a really good friend is the treasure in the end.
