i am always alone big reason for the one muff head phones i wear:unsure:

I hunt alone on the beach and in the woods. So far, no problems. I DO avoid groups of teens on the beach late at night.

If I don't like looks of 2 legged animals I leave, groups of teenagers spells trouble.I carry my digging knifea,A boot knife on purpose. And sometimes a ASP baton in my pocket, that is in easy reach, for two legged and four legged creatures.I try to play it safe asmuch as possible. I tend to hunt better by myself .

I feel perfectly comfortable hunting alone. Probably has something to do with the Beretta .40 on my hip.

When Mr. Ruger is in your pocket - all is well when you hunt alone. But common sense is key to avoiding trouble. Example - Yesterday I parked my car in a lot in a secluded park. I was hunting not far up on a hill. When I was done for the day I started for my car. Just then I heard a lot of yelling and a car burning rubber. As I go myself in view of my car I saw maybe 8 college guys whooping it up. Knowing I only had 7 shots I chose to hunt some more. 5 minutes later they had all left. So I made it to my car and saved ammo.

Ok, along the lines of the original post. I mostly have hunted by my self with the execption of when my Daughter's can join me. Both my daughter's are grown but enjoy time with me doing this.
The second part of my post is that looking at people's handle's I have no idea where people are.
Just an indication of where you are state and a city would be nice.
I've been in Ca for the last 20 years though I'm now in NYC taking care of my mom.

I am almost always by myself. My son has gone with me twice. I have never had any problems and hope that I never do. I have been approached by people of different races and sexes and have never felt threatened yet. They are usually just curious, or I have been lucky.
