Hunted with Bryce Saturday... And he's guilty of another senseless act of kindness... :D

called me 3 times IN that 45 minutes to try and keep me from finding anything before you got there:crylol:
3 freakin' hours:bouncy: :crylol:...sad thing is that some of these good fellers' on the forum will probably buy into the load of dung your shovelin' their way:lmfao:
Trust me guys...I had a 45 minute head start at best...then he called me 3 different times in that time frame so i couldn't get any hunting in before he got there...and that's the TRUTH:thumbup:

Ok. I have a question that I don't think will tread on your super secret secrets.

I don' know if you are hunting areas outside an old time brothels, saloons, old time fairgrounds, or an old time schools.

I don't find many halves of any kind, much less silver, and if it is not too close to the 'super secret' secrets, could you tell me what kinds of activities took place on the grounds where you regularly pop out old quarters and halves???

Maybe our old schools in the west just had students with less money to lose? Thanks, Dan.

I think if you're going to "regularly" pop out halves you might have to "regularly" hunt in pristine, previously unhunted areas as I probably can count the amount of half dollars I've found in 15 years of detecting on one hand... I was about as shocked as I could be to find this one. I was just glad it happenned on a day I was pretty well getting my butt handed to me by Bryce. Thanks to that nice large coin I was able to go home believing in my head that he wasn't as happy with his numerous finds as he might normally be. :D

He is the consumate hunter... And the only way to get him I believe is with a good measure of luck... Glad I had it that day... :) Getting back to the other thought... It would be nice to have it "regularly"...

I found this old post where you were impugning me and my finds. Did my gloat really blind you? I missed that. Funny stuff.

What fun... Gonna see if posting makes it come to the top..

You guys should just let me settle it, send me all the stuff you found that day...even the trash, I will examine it and determine who had the best day and I will then issue a certificate to the winner....of course I can't return the goodies....just a small judging fee....we know how that is don't we right:rofl: Seriously though isn't the repartee sometimes more fun than the finds! Way to go guys! :twodetecting:

STOPPED right in the center of the road as he was driving away.

I was hunting and heard this pitiful scream...a sound as I can only describe as some type of blatant victory cry.

I turned to look and there he was. Here is what I saw...so picture this....

He is stopped right in the middle of the road:crylol: ... has his arm hanging out the window:rolleyes: ... is waving his Barber half for me to see one more time as he is yelling some victory gibberish:detecting: ... has this big GLOATING smile on his face.:bouncy:... all while traffic is backing up behind him.

To this day I STILL have nightmares about that freakin' gloat.:smoke:

I felt I was doing community service calling you back over to see big silver one more time before I removed it from your state. I know the shocked look on your face was from seeing big silver in a detectorists hands and not those silly drivers behind me hoping you weren't going to sit there for too long staring at all that silver. :D
