How To Get Maximum Depth + Performance Out Of Your AT Series ( Pro & Gold) :starwars:

I get the same in my garden but it was a former landfill and every hole i dig has steal body panels, stick shifts etc, where theres stone i know theres a panel underneath it...maybe thats it, just stone ontop of a large metal hit..unless you want to go in with a hammer and chisel then you might want to mark it until you have the time or tools to go through it....hopefully not a former stone fencepost with the steal pin in it..or a lot of digging for not a lot of finding....we find them a lot in the uk...the stone snaps so they just pull it aside and leave it and it eventually gets covered by grass then dirt then sinks in

Well I took the big shovel with me today and dug that big rock up. I had to dig a 3 foot wide hole to get the rock out that turned out to be a big piece of concrete. It had some old barbed wire in it on the right side that was giving me a VDI reading in the 30's but on the middle to left side I'm getting a reading in the 60's now that I have the thing out of the ground. Now my next step is to get my sledge hammer and go back to break it open to see if there might be some jewelry or a coin in the concrete. There used to be old buildings here back in the 1930's that the military tore down so who knows whats in it. LOL!

Reminds me of something
I saw years ago.
Sears used to take in there tools on warranty
Craftsmans sockets, wrenches etc and they would put these in concrete encased bases
holding up there lot traffic signage.
Happen to be there when a car hit and broke the base holding the sign leaving
concrete pieces and tools laying all over the place.
I doubt they still do it this way nowadays.
