Ah, but be careful here as a deep coin / target on edge can also squeal like foil. I tested this out on a 14K gold ring that I burried in my test garden at 8".

If the signal bar is between 1 and 3 and it squeals, dig it, you never know !!!

I hope to ship my detector home just before vacation time to hunt in ca in August.
hen we can see if it finds small gold....

well that means the small gold spot I hunt is getting closer to being profitable for many....
I can average 1.5 grains of gold on my own slow lazy way.....
Which is 4$ a day.....
Not great but better than many park hunts I've done...
