How metal detectors do you own??????

This happened for several reasons.

First, I got tired of hearing people say this coil is better than that coil, etc, etc. So I wanted to find out for myself.

Second, Their previous owners were in a rush to get a dirty 30, no matter what, and they sold them cheap.

Third, Some of the previous owners didn't know how to troubleshoot them and fix them.

Four, I won a Excal 2 in a raffle a year ago and I haven't taken it out of the box. But I had the Capitana salvage crew autograph the box, I was there the day they brought up the gold coins.

The Sword serial numbers are : 95, 601, 2600 and ????

Yeah, I know it's a sickness.

ROBOCOP

Oh and these are just the Minelabs, help

That's a lot of excaliburs....

In our family we have six detectors. But to be fair three of us detect (My wife, 21 year old son that still lives at home, and I). One of the machines is never used and like mentioned above I could sell it but it is an old Radio Shack that I started with when I was learning the hobby. I do not think I would get $5 for it. So may as well keep it and let the grandkids (if that ever happens) use it. The machines are; Minelab Explorer II, Garrett Infinium L/S, White's DFX, Garrett Ace 250, White's Classic and the Bounty Hunter. I could probably sell the White's Classic too as it does not get any use. But again I might get $25. So why sell it?

Started detecting 40 years ago. Retired & simplifying my life. Down to two detectors. Racer 2 & Cibola

Anything worth having is worth having two (or more) of, but some of us seem to be a bit excessive.

I have 2 I relic hunt and they meet my needs XP deus and racer 2. I have friends who have many detectors and the problem I see is they never master them ,they are always changing up. I couldnt imagine trying to learn MASTER 10 detectors . I have a hard time with 2 or 3 btw the makro is being sold so I will be down to one. To each his own ,if 50 detectors makes you happy and you can afford it go for it. lol thanks hh and gl
