How many still use the Coinstrike?

on the Coinstrike homepage done by long-time Coinstrike user Mike Hillis.
He did a chart showing the relationship of threshold nad sensitivity.
It's really interesting in case you haven't seen it.
Just click on Numeric ID charts by Mike Hillis to take a look.

Hi all,
Just thought I would put my 2 pence worth in about the C$ from the UK, I have owned a C$ now for just over 6 months ( First ever detector ) and have found the learning curve quite easy to get around with the help of some great guy's on this forum ( Big thanks, you know who you are ! ) I have had some excellent results so far with the stock 8" coil, I have had some deep finds up to10" ( No Silver or Gold as yet :( ) but I'm sure they will come in time.
I would however like to see some more people getting out there Coin$trike's and sharing there finds and experiences with it !

Hopefully come Monday I'll have some interesting finds to post. I'm heading up to my parents home in NorCal tonight and plan to do four days of hunting with my C$ and my Minelab Sovereign (probably will only do fresh water hunting with the Sov, we'll see). I have an old homestead from 1903 on a mountain I'm going to hike to to hunt, and old adobe if I can find it from the 1800's, an old Victorian waterfront resort (it's long gone, but I have the exact location thanks to the Sanborn maps), and old stage stop where a Victorian house was later built on, and then was recently moved) and also an 1800's chuch site that's been vacant for a long time that I also found on the Sanborn maps. One would think with four days of hunting that I should be able to find something good...we'll see :detecting:

I have a Coinstrike on the way but it will probably be late due to Friday being a holiday. I was hoping it might be here tomorrow but I doubt it. I'm just looking forward to trying it out. Also comparing it to my F-70.

Has this thread died already come let us all hear your story's and get them finds out !
I will be posting very soon just waiting for the farmers in my area St.Albans UK to cut down there crops

The coinstrike is a pretty good little machine it is a little noisy but I still like mine alot, it does work very well but no depth indication, my Garret gti 2500 detector goes deeper but weighs alot more, the coinstrike is alot of fun to use, I will keep using mine until it melts down..

I just bought a used one about a month ago for $400 , I really like mine it is easy to use and works very well, it is a little noisy but I could almost instantly tell the good targets from the bad, it is a very easy unit to learn, also I like the pads and LCD display and green backlight, it feels well balanced and light, for the used price these guys are a real bargain, now if I can just find a gold strike somewhere..
