How do you find an 1841 Seated Dime yet get slapped by your hunting buddy:bouncy:???...

Thanks friend. I have been concentrating mostly on the SE the last 6 weeks or so. This year with the E-Trac as of 11/20 I have found 61 silver coins and 52 Injuns'. I have done much better with the SE.

LAST YEAR IN 09 I GOT A NICE 1845-0 AT A OLD FARM . NICE FIND ON THE 1841

I think I have found 3 2 centers in 35 years...and he just found two in 45 minutes.

It's very simple Bryce. You teach your buddy Dave a few things and he becomes the master. Seriously though, Dave is catching on very fast and it's too bad we all don't have someone to teach us a few tricks about the SE. Nothing like hands-on learning no matter how many books you read. Your 1841 seated dime is sweet, but I have to admit that Dave's two 2-centers are a little sweeter. That is pretty awesome for Dave to find two of those. I'd be happy with just finding one. Good hunt you two and a good story and Dave, congrats to you buddy. Glad things are really clicking for you on your SE. HH.

That's a funny story, but I'm sure you knew it would happen before too long......I think your hunts with Dave are going to be pretty exciting now that he's acquired the necessary skills and put in the hard work in learning the Explorer.
That was a very successful hunt!! Finding a seated and two 2-centers is quite a feat. You guys gotta be pumped up for your next hunt!!!

Not sure if you are referring to Dave's 2 center or the seated dime...but I believe I have found only 3 two centers in my 35 years of hunting. He has a good jump on the game.

Epic hunt Dave - I'm not aware of anyone else finding two in the same day. I'd get some nice plastic cases for those beauties after cleaning them up with some peroxide. Looks like the Master taught you well!
