Good job guys and thanks for sharing. Your posts are always an enjoyable read Bryce. Are you putting time on the E-Trac and if so how many indians/silver with it? I know you love your SE.
Thanks friend. I have been concentrating mostly on the SE the last 6 weeks or so. This year with the E-Trac as of 11/20 I have found 61 silver coins and 52 Injuns'. I have done much better with the SE.

Thanks friend. I have never been to Maine before so it isn't likely. If I did get slapped...I'd just smile and shake your hand
. I don't who finds what...just seeing it come out of the ground puts a smile on my face.

You should be very proud Bryce......your student and hunting buddie
has finally come into his own with the SE.....Congrats Dave on the 2
two-centers! And a very hearty congrats to you Bryce for the 1841
Seated dime. I would (and have) take a slappin' like that to find a
coin as old as the one you found......Congrats to you both!!
Gold Nuggets
Thanks G.N....Dave is a very talented hunter in a very short time. He's a good guy too. If he says he won't hunt a site without me...he stands by his word.
Chris(SoCenWI) said:
I'm surprised he hasn't just given up on this whole metal detecting thing after you took him to school.
Chris
I think I have found 3 2 centers in 35 years...and he just found two in 45 minutes.

It's very simple Bryce.
You teach your buddy Dave a few things and he becomes the master.
Seriously though, Dave is catching on very fast and it's too bad we all don't have someone to teach us a few tricks about the SE. Nothing like hands-on learning no matter how many books you read. Your 1841 seated dime is sweet, but I have to admit that Dave's two 2-centers are a little sweeter. That is pretty awesome for Dave to find two of those. I'd be happy with just finding one. Good hunt you two and a good story and Dave, congrats to you buddy. Glad things are really clicking for you on your SE. HH.
Eddie
Thanks Eddie. Yep...he whooped me purty good...and I couldn't be happier for him.

Hello Bryce.
That's a funny story, but I'm sure you knew it would happen before too long......I think your hunts with Dave are going to be pretty exciting now that he's acquired the necessary skills and put in the hard work in learning the Explorer.
That was a very successful hunt!! Finding a seated and two 2-centers is quite a feat. You guys gotta be pumped up for your next hunt!!!
Congrats, my friend, and a BIG congrats to your buddy, DAVE!!
Hey, look on the bright side....at least it wasn't a major spanking....finding your seated resulted only in a face slapping!!

Not sure if you are referring to Dave's 2 center or the seated dime...but I believe I have found only 3 two centers in my 35 years of hunting. He has a good jump on the game.
NebTrac said:
