how do you do use electrolysis on large items?

Spray it down with muriatic acid. I soaked some large rusty hinges in muriatic acid till the rust disappeared. I than rinsed them off and put them in a bucket of baking soda water. Dried them real good, primer-ed, painted them black and they looked like wrought iron. They looked good.

Now is a fine time to tell me. I did all my electroplating with a car battery when I was eight.
