Honey Hole spits out RARE 1840 Half Cent, and 2 Cent Piece

Couldn't resist the temptation to go hit my new found Honey Hole today since the weather was awesome, and I was able to get all of my errands accomplished before noon. I found what might be an old buried path from the back of the foundation I've been hunting, down a slope towards an old spring house that is also long gone. I walked this imaginary line down the hill and found a pretty decent 1840 Half Cent. I can easily make-out the date with my magnifying glass with ease. Supposedly these 1840's were proofs. I'm sending it out to be officially graded, and since I cleaned it, value isn't a concern as much as having it certified as an original 1840 Half Cent proof. I'm really loving this new spot. I also found my first 2 Cent Piece here today, a .50 Cal round (odd), an unknown Buffalo nickel, and a Brass/Copper(?) Eagle ornament. I guess my year isn't over yet. I'm planning on getting back out there tomorrow to pound it some more.
