Hidden Homesight

Good story. Bet there's some cash hidden someplace in that house. Try to get permission to look.

Go back in the spring when all the weeds are gone. Dig that dime! Maybe not.

Chris

No dime is worth finding a bunch of bones. Actually nothing is worth it to me. I will go back to the location but will stay far away from that grave sight. We did put the stone back right where we found it. Right now the weeds are too high and thick to be able to tell where the garden was, or even the outhouse. But I sure would like to see it in late fall or early spring. Right now the bears have their babies (a momma bear was seen in that same area the other day, and she had THREE babies!) I didn't even know they could have that many. Not a good time to go prowling around out there. Will keep you posted on the future investigation but in the meantime I will see if I can find out who owns the property. After all, someone must be paying the taxes on it.

When bears have cubs they are more dangerous than usual. If the place is not snowed in, the time to go is when the bears are hibernating. Just my luck to run across an insomniac bear. Happy and safe hunting. In the state of Ga., if you are relic hunting on private property, you must have written permission if you find any relics or arrowheads, if I understand correctly. The DNR requires this.
