Correct, for many years 500ma @120VAC across the torso was considered the danger threshold, there has been recent evidence that even less, 250ma-300ma is sufficient in some individuals. The old electrician's rule, "one hand behind your back when working them Hot".

There are old electricians, and there are bold electricians, but there are no old bold electricians!:bouncy:

I dont know much about this but do know that higher frequencies need more power then lower frequencies.Norfolf Wulf mention some about this in his newest book, advanced detecting.

My Explorer gives me the impression that this is correct. The Explorer operates from 1 khz and up and that low frequency sure goes deep on the silver.It does not go as deep on a nickel of the same size because the most responsive frequency to that metal is much higher and therefore need more power.

Like Monte say, we need an engineer to write some facts.
