I have been there many times. I live in Huntinton. I installed security in Warfield not long ago. Got some nice coins at the bank there. We should have the next CMD hunt down your way and let the people experience some real country living. LOL Happy Hunting.
 
Yep Gunswinger, We're about 8 mi from beauty. Lovely is a few miles on up the river. I do electric work at the Warfield and Inez Banks, keep the lights burning etc. A lot of history in the Warfield area. Had one CW skirmish there somewhere around the river, but I can't find out the exact area. Doing research on it as time permits. Did you get to swing a little at the bank? Most of the good sites in town are blacktop now. Thats why I detect the old homesites up hollows etc. when I can locate them and get permission. More fun than in town, No one to bother you. Except the snakes!!
Yep the slow lifestyle of country livin, I love it. If you get back in this area keep your eyes peeled for a truck with Buddy's Electric Svc signs on it. That will be me,if time permits maybe we can have a cup of coffee. I'll buy.

its hills and trees. Google Earth isn't that plain but these pics might give an idea of the landscape. Not much level land. The strip mines is killin our beautiful hills.
