and posted on the MXT forum today about a spur i found with an M6. Appears almost identical to the one in Eastern @ Western Magazine from Oct. 2006 page 48 and that one is dated from mid 1800's. Anyone know how to date this one. Thanks for any help!! HH Bill
 
Can't help with dating it, but I just wanted to tell you what a great find that is. I have found parts before, but never the whole spur. Congrats!!!

I was curious about dating it because i found it at a site buit around mid 1950's and noticed the pic and dated in magazine and if it's old as that one i'll definately spend more time and energy hunting there. HH Bill
