Great stuff...Now is that Confederate money???

Yeah, not worth the paper it was printed on,lol. I have several bank notes from the same era.
My greatgreat grandfather was one of Forrest's calvary men. They belonged to him.

Yea maybe not worth much money wise..but keepsake wise Priceless !!!!

Thanks El, I have many family pieces that have been passed down and they are all
precious to me. And I hope to the future generation.

Wow. Those are beautiful!! Doesn't even matter how much they are worth. They're family pieces. Something passed down from that long ago.Super!!:bouncy:

Nice finds. A friend of mine is into knapping points. Ever have those identified or did you knapp some of them?

I don't know what knapping points is.

But I nabbed those right off the ground just

as you see them.

Most come from a field next to a creek that

flows into the Buffalo River. It's called Big

Creek.

The two little ones and the scraper came

from an indian fire place.

HH,

Great finds. Knapping is the art of chipping away or flaking at the stones to get those beautiful shaped points. If you put in your state and the word knapping or Indian points in Google, you may come up with a web page that shows you other points (arrow heads) that you can compare yours to. This may give you an idea of age, and tribe, and value. Anyways, great finds!!

Hey TD, Here is an informative video on flint knapping,I hope this works.
