Hey Bill,...

Ixnay on the andbay thing! Why I'm simply not worthy as I never even opened for Led Zepp, :) Lynyrd Skynyrd, or Molly Hatchett let alone played with...er, formed the bands. Yeah, that's the ticket! :D That fire at the Great White gig was horrifically unbelievable! I saw the videos of it and still can fathom it. And then of course we have the crack pot that shot Dimebag Darrell to death at a club about an hour from here. I guess rock and roll can be pretty dangerous after all. One could argue that you'd certainly lose your hearing if you lost your life. On topic: C$'s ROCK!!!!!!!!!!! :super: :super: :super:

Bill,

You would not need any medieval torture devices to get any info out of me. Just play some of that stuff with some of those European bands thrown in for good measure and I would crack quick.

Do you remember Hot Rod Lincoln by Commmander Cody? I bet Brad does. The son of a guy I used to work with was the drummer in the group and I went to a couple concerts with him some of the band member jammed in my car (gets them of the band bus). This was back when they were opening for the New Riders of the Purple Sage. Now that was a trip.. in more ways than one.

Tom

I especially liked the Sorority girls part!

I think? ;)

I remember when I got my first Les Paul in '73 and used to play "Doctor Doctor" (the UFO song, not the game! :nono: ) ad nauseum. Of course if you couldn't remember what you played 5 minutes before anyhow, it never got repetitious.

I think I have like every Scorpions album in my collection & at least one UFO someplace too. UFO was a bit before my time period. I was pretty much an 80's kinda guy being in my teens then ;) I remember one of my biggest thrills at that time was meeting the golden voiced Ronnie James Dio in a record store signing. Amazingly he was very articulate & friendly to me & I still have that autographed album somewhere too. Funny all this stuff is coming back now. These bands are reforming, & speaking of Iron Maiden my little brother just saw them recently & said they had all original members....

Sorry that sounds like it's before the Twisted Sister era I was apart of  What's funny is my little brothers are going to see all these bands again like Motley Crue and paying all kinds a $$ collecting records. But, I saw all those bands & they can't believe it. I tell them stories about stuff like seeing Anthrax in a tiny dive bar in Providence before they were popular & they are like; "NO WAAAAYYYY!!!!"
