I thought it was a 77 but don't know cars so didn't know which one! I had a 1977 Mercury Monarch (Saddle Tan with beige seats) that I gave to my son-in-law and had owned since 1985 and driven for years without power of any kind but mine! :heh: A/C had been put in but was fianally taken out because it wouldn't work any longer! Had a hot old sweaten time driving in Summer and my strength diminished until I couldn't drive it very easily any more! Very heavy car with two doors....Ma just too weak these days! :sad: :angel: Ma Betty

The 77 Merc was my dad's car which he bought new and was 8 years old with 41,000 miles when it was purchased from mom and dad's estate...they both passed away in 1984...3 months apart! And heavy indeed..not like these alum & plastic cars of today! :angel: Ma Betty
