Here's a thought......

What you sew, you reap. That includes what you do with the Lord's money (you're a steward), the time he allots you, the thoughts you have, the material things he has put you in charge of. You can think of other things also. We are like the servants with the talents (money) that we need to invest for the Master. These things that we invest are so that he (Jesus) will receive his rewards. Not my original thought but got it from Dr. Tony Evans.

I think that not only are we to use money wisely and for God's glory but even talents - the things we can do and do well such as being musically talented, contruction (hammer, nail, saw, etc.) talented, literary talented (using one's ability to write and speak to others), and other talents should be used for God's glory.

Music played and sung for His glory is much preferred to the time and effort spent spewing demonic rock music and rap (which isn't even music).

The use of tools to make (build) things for God's people - such as Habitat for Humanity, and other things like the building of ramps and other things for those who cannot do that for themselves is a wise use of time and effort for His glory instead of building bars for alcohonlics to spend their time and money in.

The use of literary talents to write sermons, writing of the Bible and other uses for God's glory is preffered over the same use for writing tabloids sold at cash registers where everyone sees the filth that is used to take away the innocence of our youth - and even adults.

These are just some other examples of things God has given each of us and it is our duty to God to use what He has given us to use in service to others and for His glory.

Just My Humble Opinion

May God bless us all with one or more talents that we use wisely.

Good evening, yes we are saved unto[for] good works Eph. 2;10 Saved not by good works, but for good works, destined to good works. Good works never produce salvation, but salvation always produces good works. A man is not justified by works but a justified man works. Yes, a great priviliage we have to serve our Great God with our talents, or anything or way He can use us.

I seen Tony Evans a couple times, He is great! Good words my friend! :)

in Jesus by faith believing, He is Who the Bible says He is, then we are to labor and help other souls have eternal life! For Jesus came to save and not to condemn......but unforgiven sins will condemn sinners for punishment in the Lake of Fire!

Praise God from Whom all blessings flow and Who came and died in our place as our own personal Savior that we might be saved and living with Him forever and ever! It is not His will that any should perish but that all should have everlasting life by confessing Jesus is Lord!

God Bless!
