Hello, New to the Forum.
After 10 years, have decided to dust off the my detectors and get back into the game if my legs will allow it.
Many new accessories have been introduced to the hobby since I last dug coins, like the pin pointers. I can recall being frustrated many times trying to find where that signal disappeared.
I have found a dozen or more pin pointers on the market but the Garrett Pro-Pointer seems to be the pointer of choice. However the Mako Waterproof pin pointer appears to have just been introduced and could give the Garrett Pro some competition. Has anyone used it and could you compare it to Garrett's Pro?
P.S.
I have really been enjoying the YouTube video's now available on Detectors/Accessories reviews and the treasure hunts themselves, Wow!. They can really get a body charged up. With winter coming on here in East Tennessee, it might be all that I have to look forward to till spring gets here!!!! The use of small video cameras have left nothing to the imagination. It's almost like "being there" when that glint of silver appears in the hole.
