Lots of folks have let Minelab know they would like certain updates for some time now. I'm sure some can be achieved, some probably not. The Seawater one was a no brainer. It really should have been done before the unit was ever released. It's Minelab's move now. Maybe they have a few of them ready to spring on us all at once. That would be nice.

If anyone wants to go back and reread my orginal post with a open mind you might discover that all i really was asking was an acknowledgement that they are listing and working on some of the things that their customers would like. Although those things may not be a fix for any problem.

So far all we have is pure speculation by some that they do here us and are addressing those request.

First off..... In all the years I've been a member of Findmall, I don't recall Minelab responding directly to forum comments. Instead, they communicate with those who continue to be involved in the ongoing development of the specific product line. So if you weren't involved in the development of the CTX3030, don't take it as a personal rejection when they don't respond to your posts.

Secondly......work on CTX3030 product development is ongoing. Many of the "enhancements" currently being reviewed were gleaned from the suggestions made on this forum.

And finally.......neither of these statements are speculation. HH Randy

The CTX is a amazing machine....now all I need is more time to use it!
