Hello from Bodrum

The Lost Ring

Well-known member
Hello,
First of all, I apologize for bad English.
My name is İsmet, and I am from Bodrum, Turkey. I am an environmental engineer. I am 51 years old.
I started metal detecting with Vibra-İking, which I bought from an online shop about 6-7 years ago. Then I tried the Garrett Ace 250 for beach search. And I bought a Garrett propointerAT for underwater. But I couldn't get results from either of them.
There are many people who metal detecting in Bodrum. I became friends with a few of them. Then I bought the Minelab Excalibur II and I'm still using it. I recently found and purchased an unused Fisher CZ-21-8 with a very minor flaw from an authorized dealer for very cheap (approx $167 USD). I saw this forum while searching the internet to get information from Fisher's users and became a member.
I am mostly underwater hunter. I also have hobbies of fishing, spearfishing and scale model-diorama.
Best regards,

Welcome from NJ, USA.

With the history of your area I can't begin to imagine how exciting the finds could be.
You are absolutely right. Touching the 3500-year-old ruins is incredibly enjoyable in some dives.
