Hello all, new here to friends and finds... something I think is funny Brand loyalty..And the borderline psycho

You won't find many, if any detector wars here. Maybe good natured ribbing if it is green. But that would be it. :wiggle:

Most of the inmates of this forum have been together a very long time.I have been with this bunch since 2000. We gathered at a Whites forum and the friendships were made. We stayed together while we made a cyber-journey through several websites seeking a home. The main problem at most of the sites we haunted were the complaints of die-hard Whites users that got their panties in a bunch because we could not stay on topic. We were even accused of being a bunch of B.S.ers who lacked the good graces to even clean ourselves, or stay on the topic. "Whites GOOD" . At long last the problem was solved. our current home gave us our own forum! The Friends and finds fourm is the place where we can stay on topic, anything goes as long as it is family rated.

On this forum you can use any detector you want and not get bad-mouthed. ( There are a few rabid Minelab users, but we let them be shills for the Aussies without any bad feelings). On a recent hunt in my area, two of the fourm members, Falk and Elson, met up with me and we detected without malice or predjudice. All three of us had more than one brand of detector we used on this hunt.Three major manufacturers were represented. We also had along a magnet on a rope just in case! The only bad mouthing on the whole trip was when my Ford broke down, a day that shall live in infamy.

So have at it Silverstar, if someone give you a hard time you can rest assured it is good natured fun. All brands welcome, just don't even think of eating Elson's candy without permission, trust me on that one! DC
