Hello All!! I escaped from Snowhell, MI for a few days.......

I went back to Alabama for a few days last week. All I can say is I wished I had gotten my BHID 10 years ago ( and learned Gobble-Gobble's double secret All metal hot mode.) I'm way bad out of practice and was still able to hit alot of good targets.

My wife went off with her sister to goof off / shop so I had a free day to MD. Sunny in the 70's :~)

I hit one of my old favroite beaches (Fairhope,Ala) known for giving up a ring or two every now and then, well I got two. I was working along the beach (wet sand) and started hitting darker sand then I started finding fishing weights, now I was excited! ( NOTE IF YOU EVER START FINDING SMALL/MED FISHING WEIGHTS SLOW DOWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

The one ring is a tiger? design the diamonds are all real!! even the ones on top and sides, can't see the kt mark, looks like 18kt? (7g) not sure - Woot!! :~) the other ring is a 10k class ring (6g) 1975 (note the Pirate). Various coins one wheat 1931 and a 44 "war" nickel , weights, screws etc. No silver coins darn it!

I had fun and to all of you in the warmer climates GET HUNTING!!!!!

I agree, that lion/tiger ring is nice!! Congrats on the class ring too!! HH!!:clapping:

Thanks yall!! Here's another shot gotta love diamonds! Only looks like 2 are missing #$*%^&^@! sand! This beach has been used since the 20's and from looking online these rings are spendy! Uh oh, the Ms loves cat jewelry..................darn it ;~)

I think it's 10k about 15g lot of wear on it. About 12 inches or more deep in wet brackish sand. But ultra cool for going out and having a neat story to tell.... Again Go BHID! Supertuned AM mode ROCKS!!

Hey R-n-R, nice job on those rings.Do you run the 9.5" coil or the 12" coil on the BHID? Just wondering if the supertune works on the 9.5 coil also.

That Tiger ring is cool ..!!

Musta felt good to get outa town for a while and gets some diggin done. Things are looking up here in the Lower. Got out again yesterday and will post my 'find'.

HH Tom

Very nice ring that tiger is (or what ever kind of cat it is)! Once people start getting in the water in Michigan, I expect you will do well there too!

I need some help on the super tune mode. I have tried to get mine to go to single tone and have had little or no success in getting it. I have read and reread and reread instructions but must be missing step in the process as I still have multiple tones

nice finds...wtg...:clapping::detecting:

Nice haul of Loot...and some sweeet looking gold! Like the scoop and the Bhid sunset shot! How do you like the scoop, thinking about getting one simlar or like with the hoop for the Bay here in Md.....Obn/joe

Thanks!! to all! Was great to find something after freezing all winter!!

I use the 9.5 and it's a pain cause it floats! Depth is super, I can't imagine how much more I could get with the 12.

The scoop is great but it's heavy when not in the water.

AM Supertuned is the way to go!!!! In disc the machine is OK, but in th AM mode it's a monster!

Hoping this will be a good summer in the U.P. have several beaches but no super finds yet, darn water is cold even in the "summer" high of 70's ha! It was 26 this am :~(.
