Satan is the master deceiver! He wants the masses to believe that there is no hell ! Some people think that they will go into hell laughing and drinking and raising caine! That might be but they will not be happy once they get there! It is a place of torment and suffering! People who believe that there is no hell is believing a lie....I pray for their souls! Jesus is good and does not want anyone to go to Hell but the path to Heaven is a narrow one! God is Good!

I have to chime in on this subject. If anyone absolutely deserved it it would have to be Adam. He sentenced the whole human family to suffering and death. If it wasn't for his sin by eating the fruit he was specifically instructed not to eat or he would die. So he ate of the fruit and he died. In the meantime he passed on sin and death to all of his descendants. What was his sentence? Note what Genesis 3:19 states. For dust you are and to dust you will return. Nothing at all was mentioned of this burning hell. Adam was simply told he was returning to dust. What else does the Bible say about the dead? Please look up Ecclesiastes 9:5-6. Read verse 10 while you are in that same chapter. Verse 2 of chapter 9 states that the righteous and the wicked have the very same outcome. Vs 5 states they don't have any more reward. (Let's think about this now. A reward would be for bad or good right?) Now turn to Earlier 18:4. It says the soul that is sinning will die.
Jesus did mention a fiery Gehenna. But notice something else that was written about the way Jesus taught. It is found at Matthew 13:34. Jesus would not speak to them without an illustration. So Jesus used parables. This can be backed up again at Mark 4:34. Feel free to look up the references I'm am giving. They can be found in your own personal copies of the Bible. Revelation does talk about a lake of fire in chapter 20:14 and Revelation 21:8. At the end of both of those references it tells us what the lake of fire means. Look at it for yourself. I did not write it. It means the second death. If you undergo the second death you are wiped out of existence for all time.
We know God to be fair. In fact 1 John 4:8 states God is love. Now those of us who have kids naturally love our kids. Now to punish them for an infraction would you put their hand in a lot fireplace or on a hot stove? Would you? Now those of you reading this part are thinking that's abusive and you are correct. God is so much greater than us humans. We live 70-80 some years and we die. If cremation takes place that is about an hour and half to two hour process then our bones are ground down to make ashes. So you mean to tell me God is going to use his holy spirit to keep your flesh and nerves in such a state so you can feel the most horrible pain imaginable for all eternity? For 70-80 years of sinning on this earth? Does that mean God is allowing Satan and his wicked demons to exist to torment and abuse humans for all time for the few years we live on earth? Where is the justice? God is a just God. Think about what you are being told and check it out for yourselves in the Bible

want to believe what the Bible (God's Holy Word) says but will just pick out a few scriptures that makes them feel better and that they believe! Jesus, Himself, said Hell is so terrible that it would be better to cut off our arm or leg that offends than to be cast into the fires of Hell and to pluck out our eyes if they offend us by watching and hearing filth, for it would be better than for our bodies being in Hell....if Jesus said that, than how horrible can it be and how real is it? Very horrible and very real! Mt 5.22; Mt 11.23; Mk 9.47; Mt 18.9; Mk 9.47; Luke 16.23; REV 20.13,14, 15.....And death and hell were cast into the Lake of Fire...This is the second death and whosoever was not found in the Book of Life (those with true, sincere believing faith in Jesus) was cast into the Lake of Fire. Where the worm never dies, for the conscience is aware of where they are, whether in Heaven or in the Lake of Fire! False prophets need Jesus and there are or have been some on this CMD Forum! SAD!! perhaps the question you should be asking is, "What have I done to make the world a better place?" Not just for your family but the world as a whole. If you can look into yourself and answer honestly, does it matter what happens when you die? If there is a hell you could smile knowing you've helped the world get 1 step closer. If there is a heaven, hopefully you would do your best to make it a better place for everyone there too.

Yes, it does matter what happens when we die, for the sinners' lost souls will be tormented and tortured forever, while those who love and live for Jesus by believing faith in Him and are obedient servants by occupying until He comes, doing His will on earth like He would if He were still here in body, who is fully God and fully man will be caught up into Heaven on our Resurrection Day....Jesus was Resurrected and so will we faithful Christians will be, also!! Either our living souls shall be in Heaven with Jesus when we die or are caught up unto Him, if still living when He comes, or our unbelieving, sinful souls will be cast into the Lake of Fire! There is no in between, so it is very important that we believe in Jesus and allow Him to forgive us of our sins that we might have eternal life but we must continue our earthly race for our heavenly prize of dwelling with Him forever more! You sound like Hillary concerning the 4 American military men that she didn't protect as Sec of State and now says, what difference does it make? Well sir it makes a lot of difference whether saved or unsaved and whether we live for Jesus or live for the devil while we've mortal life on earth! Lazarus had died but Jesus brought him back to life by the power of the Holy Spirit and when he died again for good, his spirit went back to God Who gave Him life and he waits for his new immortal body to be given him on Resurrection Day like we all do who are saved in Christ Jesus! There was a beggar who ate crumbs from the rich man's table and the dog's licked his sores, for the rich man didn't help him, so when they both died, the beggar's spirit was leaning on Abraham and the rich man looked up and said to Abraham that he was in torment and to send down those who could tell his five brothers about salvation so they wouldn't go to the place of torment where he was, but Abraham said, you didn't listen while they were there and you were there on earth, so neither will your brothers listen although many should come down and preach the gospel to them!

So open your eyes and see and open your ears and hear God's Holy Spirit warning you that if you aren't truly saved in Christ Jesus by believing faith and live for Him for endurance until the end of your mortal life, you will spend eternity in the Lake of Fire....God won't send you there because He hates you; No! He loves you but it is your choice to believe in Him and have eternal life in His kingdom forever or to choose eternal death in the fire because you refuse to believe all the scriptures in the Bible, which I and others have posted many about salvation, death in the fire and eternal life by God's forgiving grace! God won't send you into the fire to be tormented, it will be your choice to be tortured and tormented for your unbelief in Jesus Christ because God made a way for salvation and each one of us are sinners and must take Jesus as our Savior and Lord by believing faith in Who He is, God with us! Stephenscool, I don't nor anyone else has to do that for Jesus had already paid the full price for our sins and He is the One by His Holy Spirit Who gives instruction and godly wisdom to mankind for the healing of bodies and through the prayers of His faithful saints! The good we do in Jesus' name is done by those living, obeying and giving Him honor and glory! No one has to go into Hell or the Lake of Fire for the cure of any disease, like I said, Jesus has already done that for all of us! But by our believing faith God moves on our behalf and will give us favor with miracle cures, but it is up to those He gives minds to as Doctors and those who find cures for the mortal bodies! If the world wasn't so corrupted by sin, there wouldn't be so many sicknesses, diseases and destruction of all kinds! When we are with Jesus in our immortal, glorified bodies, there will be no more sicknesses, pain, tears or death, for Jesus gives us Victory over all these when we believe in Him and follow God's straight and narrow way all the days of our mortal lives and then we shall have eternal life in new bodies, for we are made a new creation in Christ and by being born again in Him, and do have eternal life through His virgin birth, death and His Resurrection, for He lived again and then went up in clouds of glory after Pentecost where He gave his apostles the gift of God's Holy Spirit! We, as disciples of God and by having received His Holy Spirit as a gift, can also do what they did back in Jesus' day and afterwards! Ma
