I didn't hunt yesterday as I was giving some pulled muscles a chance to heal up and the weather yesterday was miserable but this morning the sun broke out before low tide, so I through my gear into the jeep and headed down to Horseshoe Bay for a look see. The surf was heavy breakers but the spacing was pretty good so I decided to give it a go. I took it easy because I didn't want to get caught in a riptide, nor did I want to add further injury to my pulled shoulder muscles. I did get clipped a couple of times by rogues but nothing serious enough to give me a complete tumble - those always hurt.
$2.16 in clad and a nice .925 silver bracelet with a byzantine link was my take for 2 hours in the surf. No gold but a good day nonetheless and I got some exercise as well as worked on my tan.
The weather forecast is pretty dodgy for tomorrow so I'll be keeping a close eye on the weather so I can decide whether or not to go looting on Saturday or just wait for Surf Church.
Cheers,
BDA
