Detecting one of my favorite parks yesterday morning early before it got too hot! Right off the bat started finding wheats, pull tabs and millions of pencil erasers! About an hour in I got a solid 85 on the D2, I figured it was another zinc right under the surface and out pops this pink sapphire, .925 ring! Probably my prettiest ring I have found! Found a couple other junker rings and bling. Also found an old token that I currently have soaking in olive oil.

Here is my heart stopper ring this morning. NOT-read 85 and one of the glass settings was in the hole so I glued it back in for the picture. The 36 other 85’s were pennys. Oh well 3.11 in clad wasn’ too bad.
Nice find Silverstreak. Bye the way, I recently went to a vintage trailer rally in Idaho and the guy next to me had a 33 ft. Silver streak. Do you bye chance have a Silver streak?

Well. Thanks for a reality check. All this just made my usual copper rivets, .22 shells and wheat penny finds seem VERY inadequate. Ma and Pa Kettles’ home sites don’t yield sapphire/diamond rings.

In all seriousness those are some smokin finds. Congrats!!!
