Same here but will, introduce 1 carefully after trialsGeez… im happy with the way v7.1 works maybe ill just skip v1.0 for now lol
The update software worked fine for me. ZERO issues. Read back a few posts about the "PICNIC" comment. Me thinks it's a Chair problem not a software problem...Well I updated my remote with no problem, Then tried for 4 hours to update my was2 headphones ,I gave up it even said usb not compatible, and i didn't even have the usb in, witch tells me it's the software, changed browser, still didn't work. I deleted the 1.0 update and went back to 7.0 works fine, I'm going to sell the deus and get a Manticore, I don't want it anymore. The french just don't have it.
Well if it wasn't software, why did it update the remote without a problem, and then not the wsa2 headphones? You can call it picnic, or what ever you want but it stinks! The update software worked fine for me. ZERO issues. Read back a few posts about the "PICNIC" comment. To his defense its two different software programs for both but more likely picnicWell if it wasn't software, why did it update the remote without a problem, and then not the wsa2 headphones? You can call it picnic, or what ever you want but it stinks!
I've done the update and you DO NEED TO UPDATE THE HEADPHONES TOO.My update has been done to the remote , but now i have no wireless. This update is rubbish
The whole cable thing can be made easier though.I've done the update and you DO NEED TO UPDATE THE HEADPHONES TOO.
Here is the problem.....the USB B cable that comes with the Deus II seems to be a "POWER ONLY" cable and unable to connect the headphones to the website for the update. I kept getting an "unable to connect" message. After finding the right cable...it was very easy to update the headphones.
You should try several different USB A to USB B cables to find out which one will work.
After doing the update......My Oh My.....well worth it. The Deus II is not an easy detector to use. Once you understand it, it becomes part of you.
Sorry to hear that. I let the battery run down in the WS6 and after I recharged it, it worked as it should. I think XP has addressed this issue and fixed it.Same here!!!
