For those who might be interested in some Calrad headphones, do you have a model number? There's a lot of different Calrad headphones on the market.

To each his own. However, the Calrads I've had worked okay, but fit loosely and sounded hollow compared to the Gray Ghosts I prefer.

How are they any different from my Killer B's Wasp headphones? They sound great and really sharp, but for some reason I'm not hearing the threshold tone well enough to ground balance my Vaquero properly. Maybe the 'limiter' is causing the problem. I'll try to ground balance tomorrow with it turned off. Another thing, I'm real lucky have two equally bad ears, so I don't need dual volume controls. I really hate messing with two. I'd like to find some headphones that are light weight that work well with my Vaquero. The lightweight ones that I do have (Koss KTXPRO1 Titanium) work great on my Golden and Compadre, but sound terrible on my Vaquero for some reason.

Yep, it was the Killer B's Wasp 'limiter' switch that was causing problem with ground balancing. The Vaquero balances super easy with it turned off. The Vaquero low tone and the Killer B's Wasp are a perfect match. The sound, depth and tone are all amazingly good.

The Eldorado uMax doesn't sound nearly as good the Vaquero does with the Killer B's Wasp headphones, but its OK.

I really would like to find some lightweight headphones with a volume control that would work well with my Vaquero.
