Headphone question?? Surf and Diving

Whitetail

Member
Thinking of getting a detector for both freshwater and saltwater. Ok...your working the surf with headphones....how careful do you have to be so they do not get wet...or can the Excalibur headphones get wet? Can they go underwater? I'm a scuba diver and would like to give it a try with an underwater detector....so what do you need "under" water for headphones? Do you even use any?
Thanks

Excal HPs are waterproof if original.
