Headphone match

RB - Vision

New member
Hi all,
long time listener, first time caller.

My dealer has 1 Vision, in the box, no headphones.
They said they can order the wireless headphones.

Will the the wireless headphones already be a match for the unit,
or is there some magic involved?

Thankx, Randy

I think it should be ready to go from what I remember. Go to the menu and turn on the wireless option and set the volume. It should already be set on channel 3 if memory serves me right. It's the same as you would do if the headphones came with it.

Hi Larry, thankx for the reply.

Follow-up question:
If there are 2 Visions in same area, (wife wants one too) can different channel (freq) be
selected so there is no interference?

Just trying to get a handle on this wireless thing.

Thankx Randy

Yup, again without looking it up, I think you have 10 channels to transmit on and many, many more to recieve. You can also listen to what she is hearing on her machine or she can listen to your audio too.

There are 76 channels to choose from (4-79). There is no difference in receive or transmit - they have to communicate both directions on the same channel. When enabling the wireless headphones, there is a control to select the channel that you wish to use. Then select connect on the detector, and then hold down the button on the headphones until the message says that they are connected. Then you're ready to go.

Hi larry...mine are set on channel 4....Jim

Thanks Jim.
