Has this classroom went on long enough?

I think you should let the classroom go on indefinitely. I come here everyday and learn something. I think you can look at the posts and the number of times that they are viewed and tell that this is a huge help to many, many Explorer users.

The occasional misspelled word/ typo is one thing but the chronic lack of punctuation and phonetically spelled words is just plain laziness. I will be the last person to critcize another for poor grammar OR spelling but this site (unlike many others) offers a spell check option at the bottom of each and every post. Some of the posts I read are like trying to decipher a foreign language! Have MERCY!

I agree with Heather...after you've typed your message, take an extra minute and click "check spelling" so that everything gets spelled correctly. Next click "preview message" to make sure what you're trying to say makes sense. THEN click "post message" This will make it easier for everyone to understand and reply to your question/comment.

Why fer do it matter?Someuns da peoples dat posteses ina hear is frome nother places an a dontent no howa 2 forma proper sentences(SP?)%
Point is that there are posters here from different countries that barely can read english let alone form correct sentences. Also there are detectorists here that knew what a detector was before they had ever heard of a computer. If they are anything like my parents, some feel overwhelmed by something as simple as the spelling check and are afraid that they might screw something up.There are also people like me that do not have a high school education that are perfectly capable in helping out someone on this forum even if we do misspell a word or make a grammatical error. And some are a$$holes like me that do it on purpose from time to time.
Anyway,we should not judge people for their faults, you just might not get an answer to the question you ask.

thinks ric and the rest of you all CAN KISS MY A$$ THINK YOU

We all need to stick together. It doesn't matter if we graduated on the Dean's list from Yale or graduated from the school of hard knocks,we are here for our love of detecting and our desire to help our fellow man get the most out of a great hobby/obsession.

Hi guys,
I think this classroom forum is one of the best forums going. I've learned so much about my explorer that i couldn't find in any book. It's nice to look at everyones finds but when it comes to the nuts and bolts i think its the best. Every time someone needs advice and help with even the most simplest things the experts are always will to help and i for one know it has helped me out alot.
Thanks for keeping this forum going,
stan sjmdc
