I tell you my I ordered simplex on Friday evening from my daughter, sent iban banking the same evening, my seller had received the same day simplex from nokta, on Tuesday now 14 I had simplex at home, tried function, it was ok, day after 2 hours 2 coins field trial, day after another 1'30 1 medal test, then too tired I put simplex in his box, it is still closed there, I am 83 years old and I get tired too much now, I see after winter if I better, I will resume in hand MD, thanks for reading me

Hi Algerio,
I’m still waiting on a Simplex to show up. I guess one will eventually show up at some point. About given up on checking my email to see if I have a shipping notification in email. Bad thing about preordering is that I’ve already seen 3 or 4 used Simplexes that I could have purchased & had shipped to me quicker than my preorder Simplex. Just have to keep waiting & waiting...

be patient for a few more days, if your retailer is honest you will see that he will arrive, I had to change dealer, here is the first price for 260 euros, I hope to improve in health and try in spring mid March

Done several deals & trades with my dealer. He is definitely honest & an upstanding gentleman. My problem is patience. But I’ve got other projects going on right now to occupy my time. It will definitely get here. Thanks! Hope your health improves & you can get back to hunting in the spring.

Hope you get your Simplex soon. I’m amazed that you haven’t received it yet.
The Simplex is a great little detector but in the meantime, you can still practice with the Mojave I sold you.

Thanks Don...nothing to worry about. The Mohave is a great little machine for competition hunting. For old yard sites, I’ve got a brand new Equinox 800 that has been sitting in the box for the last 5 months. Was going to learn the Simplex before starting to learn the Nox. But now I’ve got some free time to hunt, so I guess I will get the Nox out & learn it. So I’m set up & ready to go.

Ordered mine over the last weekend and it was here when I got home from work tonight. Getting ready to open it up and put it together

I read that they gave you or sold you a Moave, left simplex, only made the seller angry, then if you have nox, no problems, + difficult to use even if it's not much deeper than simplex, best wishes to learn soon with Nox and not regret others MD

Just put it together, read the instructions. Test run tomorrow..

Lighter and better balanced than the Nox...a very good thing.

From a setup point of view, in the settings mode, the timeout time is waaay too short. If you dont make an immediate adjustment on the setting, it goes back to the main menu, quick. Then you have to scroll through all the settings to get back to the one you want. A bit frustrating. Would be nice to pick up where you left off or longer timeout period.

Build quality is very nice. Nice heavy duty quality.

Time will tell on maiden voyage tomorrow.

I really dont think it will do nearly as well as the Nox or any other Minelab multi-frequency. Single frequencies have never been able to handle the wet salt sand very well. From the YouTube video there was chatter right away. Will need manual ground balance and probably lower sensitivity.

My main reason is for depth. I have a special location Ive hunted with Deus & Nox and I just want to see if it really is any deeper. Not interested in TID as much as depth.

Still waiting on that elusive email notification that my Simplex has shipped. Noticed today that there are a couple of new Simplexs on eBay for sale.

A dealer posted on another forum this morning that the next shipment is here now. The distributor is awaiting it to clear customs, so.. they should be available to ship soon.
