Has anyone heard of BLISSTOOL detectors and their extreme depth claims?

1. Hello Old Coins - mon ami - you are welcome to meet me to try it out for yourself.
2. El - no interference at the ocean beach. No interference in farm fields.
3. U2Robert - the USA distributor is being named this week. You will not have to send it overseas for service. You will deal with the USA distributor and there will be a "revolutionary" service proposition that will be announced to support the USA customers - BUT only if they buy from the USA distributor. It will be $1095.00 delivered.
4. Sovereign-fan - please stay tuned for the video. No need to worry and as I stated above - you would be insane to buy direct from Bulgaria. You'll get the machine at the same time. The USA distributor will be ordering an initial small quantity this week.

PS: Today we went to a small detecting event for 9 people in Dutchess County, NY. Large copper buried at over 12". Banging signal from the Blisstool. The other machines that tried to hear it - not so good or nothing at all. This was videotaped by the guy that ran the get together. He has no interest in the machine. I will find out when that video will be available.

The USA distributor said it's a problem shipping from USA to Canada. Unless you have a USA address to ship to (that they in turn can reship to you or you pick up) - I guess you will have to go direct to Bulgaria and depend on them for service.

Thanks my friend Barry.Look forward to see your videos. If you refer to their website the earlier models have been discontinued. Why?All the videos show a lack of pinpointing or may be the testeurs do not know how to use a detecteur. When you claim an extreme depth you have to back it up with technical data. For me I see a vlf detector with an 8.5khz frequency that can go down as you mention 12".Everybody knows that a single frequency goes very badly on mineralised soil.I have much respect for the ETRAC that with additional filters have succedeed to eliminate de problems of instability of the exploreur serie.Regarding the TDI this detector a pulse induction was develloped by Whites in cooperation of Eric Foster the father of of pulse induction.
I want to mention that my excalibur can take any piece of metal by 30".Depend on how you know to use it.
Now you are trying to convince us that a VLF dectector of 8.5 KHZ with a board that look like a cockpit of a 747, developped by a country like Bulgaria beat all the others reputables manufacturers in the existing market.Hard to beleive. You should Look also on an other brand called NOKTA made in Turquey .Look forward to see who will be the Blistool distributor in the US.

Mike - funny but unless the object is at the limits of the detection depth, the signal sound is the same for at the surface or 15" deep. You can tell size by signal intensity tho.

Old Coins (Pierre) - Earlier models have been superceded by the latest version, LTC 64 V3 - state of the art, that's why they have been discontinued. Didn't Minelab discontinue the GPX-4500 when they introduced the GPX-4800 and GPX-5000? So you need not ask why.

For pinpointing, I used the same method that I use for my E-Trac, my Excalibur and my Deus - while swinging and pulling the coil towards me when the signal stops, the target is about 1-2" in front of the coil.

Quite frankly, Pierre - you are a friend and I don't have to convince you of anything. You are free to think what you want. However, without actually trying the machine out, you should keep your sarcastic comments about "hard to believe" to yourself - which makes you look foolish. You are in a better position than others on this forum - since we live close to each other I will meet you anytime next week (I'll get me buddy to come with the machine and I'll buy the coffee) on any beach and I will show you that the Blisstool can find gold chains at 3" in wet salt sand and your (and my) Excalibur cannot do that. I will show you that the Blisstool can find a gold ring at a depth that you say that your Excalibur will no longer hear the target when set up as you normally detect - which is AUTO Sens and in Disc mode.
I'll do all the digging for you....after this, I'll expect you to tell the world about what you experienced for yourself. So please no more guessing - thank you.

sounds to good to b true, iam looking 2 get a new detector done some research on the bliss my problem with it is they r overseas,3 yr warranty (which i anit crazy about sending my detector half way around the world 2 b fixed),how well does it work in wet sand,700 euro about 1000 u.s lot of $$$ to send away, ive bought my detectors from kellyco or at findmall classified secton feel comfortable dealing with them (kellyco) and this web site apprehensive about sending a 1000 buck without representation in the u.s,. but man if it does what they claim wow

The period sure is a powerful grammatical tool!

Enjoyed speaking to you on the phone Barry. Please, call or email when things get organized on your end.

Hello Barry,Thanks but no thanks. When I read the information given on their website particularly paragraph 13 of their owner manual I am happy to stay with what I have even for few inches less.

It seems to have a enough speed + the DD coil , it should handle trash pretty well.

I wonder how it would do if the Disc was raised to knock out anything under a Dime
Would it lose much depth.

Not sure i can do a single tone machine , i guess if the tone can give info like the Tesoro does.

With no way to tell depth you better have a good pinpointer.

I don't park hunt much but it would be nice to try and grab a old deepy

The USA distributor has been selected and is taking pre-paid orders to be in on the first shipment. The order is going in Thursday. Machines should arrive in about 2 weeks from then.
All units will have their service needs handled in the USA.
Please email me if you want to talk directly to the distributor - thanks.

Hey Barry, I appreciate you keeping us abreast on this great detector.Did you mention you have the Blisstool large 15 inch coil also? Wondering if you got the chance to do much testing with it compared to the stock coil? Is it much deeper than stock or just a coverage coil. Does the machine need to be throttled back when running the large coil? Thanks again, Steve

We used the large coil and it gets an additional 4+" as well as the additional coverage. No need to back off once it's set up correctly.
The USA distributor will be making a series of instructional videos so you will know exactly what to do to maximize your detecting pleasure.
What excites me is that the machine is also extremely sensitive to small shallow objects as well as the extremely deep items.
The half dime I found in 3-4" was passed over by many people during this detecting event. The signal was a banging crisp dig me signal.

We had it out yesterday at a small get together and buried a large copper at 13+". Everyone was amazed at the clear, crisp and banging signal. Others stepped up to check their machines out. Nothing came close. The host of the outing filmed it and we are waiting for him to upload for a link...

Barry

Barry how are your trash / finds ratio going , as with any new machine i am sure your digging sample holes .
The fields i hunt have plenty of iron , like most of them i guess.
Are you getting a feel for the machine and how hard is basic set up . Thanks Mike
