Has another sent in mutilated coins to the mint recently ???

I use to send my crappy zinc's but the program was haulted for a few years. Seems as those the Chinese sent in counterfeit 1/2 dollars.
Program has resume but last I read, sound like all kinds of forms and restrictions. Like you had to be some kind of business.

Anyone have any experience nowadays ???

Should still be legal currency. I take mine to my bank and warn them that roll is corroded. I just don’t do it all at once. They haven’t complained yet…

Had a hunting partner who threw them in the trash, he said it wasn’t worth his time.
He is long gone and these days I agree with him and toss those corded zincs into a trash can before I leave the area.

Same here, if they are ragged, I just trash them.

Most Zincolns I find are bubbled up and corroded. Only ones I keep are the ones that still have some shine and you can see the dates clear.
Same thing, toss them in parks garbage bin.
