Hand Grips and Fishers.......................A friend of mine uses a tape on Golf grip

I wrapped the grip before watching the video that Tony posted so I'm thinking about re-doing it again but will go buy another wrap incase this one won't stick again once I removed it. But it is on there and the feel is great, very cushiony and comfortable. The grip now feels like it belongs in my hand, it is the foam padded grip, bought it at Academy for $3.99. John

Thanks for posting the pic, it looks good. After looking at the pic a while, I went and got my f-70 out and have an idea you may want to consider if you redo yours.

What do you think about placing a long strip of the grip material up and down the handle left and right sides going underneath the rod assembly as your first strip. Then wrap it as you would otherwise. Doing it this way may conceal the foam grip on the bottom area and add some meat to increase the grip size some more. I suppose for more meat you could also use additional strips on the front and back side of the handle too and then wrap it.

At this point, I am digging more than swinging the F70 so at the moment I have no immediate plans to do anything, however, I do like the idea !

Good idea Tony, I've thought about removing the orginal grip, buying a non pourous grip, split it down the side, attach it to the rod with a dab of rubber glue and then re-wrapping it again with the same foam padded tennis racket grip. I'll let you know how it comes out if I decide to do this. I tried to undo the wrap just a little but the porous grip was coming apart and sticking to the wrap, that's why I think a non pourous grip would be better. HH John
