Hahahahahah TV shows strike again .........lol

Sounds like a good time to throw some corroded zincolns down and find him a whole handle full while secreting the silver in a side pocket.

I like to give the home owner any items that are tied to the properties past owners...such as a piece of silver ware with the families initial's,or anything with initials from the family. If its an old toy that maybe the owners mom or grampa played with it's ther's.I dont mind leaving a common coin or 2 as well.I always film the things im finding so I dont mind giving up SOME of the stuff i find. But I like the rest of you..spent alot..alot of money on gear and just gas getting places. Not to mention most times the people are sitting on sites they had no clue about till I showed up with a map and the history of the site.I also like to give them a copy of the old map im using for the site as well.Depending on the property i might goes as far as making a nice display for them,,If im gonna be getting years and years of enjoyment detecting a place I dont mind.I also find Food is a great way to soften up the farmer's /property owners..A nice pie or some homemade deer sausage goes a longgggg way trust me.You might wanna check out that place and see if the guy will make a compromise and only keep the stuff thats linked to his family.Sometimes you could end up with 10 other sites he hooks you up with.Best to treat every site individually ,one site could unlock several more.

The clown is greedy slime ! If you did it and say found a huge gold fortune you could have ended up being buried there ( to keep the find secret ) . Call me paranoid but there are some heartless people out there .

Elton, I think I would have said something like...."I detect as part of a hobby; on occasion I do detect to find specific items for people; I consider that my time is worth the same as anyone else's; if you want me to detect for you, I can do that, but you will pay me for my services: I charge $50 per hour, payment up front for the first hour, then, if you want me to go on, another $50, and so on. I am happy to detect on your property under those circumstances, so long as I am covered for any injury by your insurance."

..he only wanted my time and services...Nothing for either was his plan of the day... I have since asked a few neighbors about the guy and all have same opinion. He is a self centered jerk.

He once asked a lawn service employee that mowed his immediate neighbors lawn if he could kick in $15.00 bucks to the kid mowing, and get his mowed too" since he was already there " . LOL Some character hu..

It's all about him per others in the neighborhood..

If he is that ignorant about detecting,... then just tell him to go buy a starter machine and a Lessche.
You simply haven't got the time,... too much requests from other homeowners.

That will keep him busy!!
