searched my aunt's yard today for about 3 hours here my goodies, five wheats there, so silver is hiding somewhere just have not located it yet.
found a lil clad, a lock, some wierd thing that says chicago tailoring, any ideas on that one??

I am pretty sure some of the Avon stuff was real?

The Booker T Washington is a commemorative coin? What is on the reverse of it? Some of these can go for nice money. It is a great find. I looked in my red book and it does not match the one in there, but could be state specific.

Very good hunt, Beale.

the coin is from sort of game?? here is a close up from both sides

Great haul for only 3 hours,
Hey an Avon ring is far superior to no ring and a ring is a ring.
Just loved that tailoring token, very nice and old looking.
:clapping::twodetecting:

Doing a search, I saw a couple of Chicago tailoring catalogs on fleabay.
They were both from the early 1900's, so that thing is probably fairly old.
I bet no newer than the 20's, 30's anyway I bet.. Also looks fairly old
judging from the hair style.. Has kind of a 1910-1920 look...
Is that a GM key, or a copy? All the older GM cars used those stop sign
shaped keys. In the older days, the GM car key thing had a paddle on it.
You had a lock position, or a non lock position, then start/on..
With those, if it was not in lock, you could grab the little paddle and
start the car with no key.
But I think about 1965 was the year they went to a flush key socket with
no paddle, but still using the stop sign shaped key, until the early 70's or so,
when they went to the longer kind.

 so its not your "PRECIOUS"?????? (Lord of the Rings movie)

You and my bro and your wheats. I guess I need to find places where they would be. Not tot lots for sure. Hey at least your Avon ring is much nicer than the one I found. Stupid junk rings anyway.....ehehehe........
You and my bro and your wheats. I guess I need to find places where they would be.
You have to know how to read those wheats. Sometimes it's a tricky signal. When you were down here, we hunted the same exact places. I found 15 wheats, Merc and a Buffalo nickel. And you found how many?
I did all I could to try and teach you. Maybe you could PM Goes4 ever and he can tell you how to find them. Sounds like he's the veteran and your the NUB:rofl:
