I hit the southern California beaches for about 15 hours this weekend and dig a lot of digging. Saturday was the best. The surf was washing the sand away before my eyes and the coins were easy to find. The rain kept most people indoors and I had the whole beach to myself! Sunday was more difficult as the big waves flattened the cuts and made many targets go deep. I found the gold medal on Saturday and the gold ring on Sunday. I'm really liking this Dual Field the more I use it. I like it's depth but I'm just as impressed with it's sensitivity for deep small objects. I think that is why I found so many dimes- almost 100. It makes for a lot of digging for 10 cents but that's better than nothing but pulltabs.:crylol: Nice load of loot, Mate.:cool:
 
I know it is a pulse.... but does it signal all targets? Or do you tell by the tonal quality just what is there?

Micheal, Some people say to dig all targets but I do skip a lot of the "double beeps". I guess that I am playing the percentages and so far it seems to be working out. HH!
 
No way Gene! I'd trade all of this and maybe my detector too for that platinum ring you just found! :biggrin:
