Group Hunt This Weekend Anyone?

I would take a day's finds like that and walk away a very happy man. :clapping:

Cool finds Jeff, but where I went to school, I counted 5 wheat cents from your post. :rofl: Not 4. Honestly, good detecting! HH, Nancy

:rofl: Ya the first then they taught us to do in High School is count :rofl: :rolleyes: OK 5 wheats

I guess I only found two wheats, 28, 29d and 35. I did get to shake hands with Marty and met a lovely young lady named Kelley. I hoped I spelled her name right. I also met a fellow who claimed to be old friends with Larry and Nancy and Steve C., but I forgot to invite him to the meeting. Did any of you other guys tell that fellow about the meeting? :lol:

:rofl: Hey Dave, did you see Dougie?

I didn't ask his name. The words "serial killer" did cross my mind. He nervously ran off to bother the others. But I did keep looking over my shoulder for awhile. He said he would give me a deal on some 1914d Wheats.

:nono: :rofl:

You're killing me Dave! :rofl::crazy::rofl:

Sorry i missed the hunt. Looks like you guys did ok. Keep it up. I had to take a 9 year old shopping for little league gear!

Oh, I remember those days. Priceless! :)

The person claiming to be Larry, Nancy, and Steve C friend was sure interested in knowing if Steve was around. I was going to mention to him about the meeting. But he was talking to Kelly and telling her all about his find and how he use to be a member of the P.A.T.H. club. Finally when I had the chance he was walking away I think he was searching for Steve. It sounds like Steve C and he were the best of buds, he sure mentions Steves name alot.:lol:

Had a great time at the park yesterday. I didn't find anything spectacular but did manage to bring home just over 3 dollars in clad. Thanks for the hunt.

I'm glad to see that everyone had a great time. It's nice to see when a hunt becomes a reality. Congrats all!!!
